what if you live in an apartment? i guess it is included in the rent. anyway, prison is much worse than school. can't go home everyday, sleep in your own bed, and be with your family. also the risk of sexual assault in the shower is greatly reduced in school vs prison.
Yes but our taxes clearly get spent on many other things such a military because teachers aren't getting paid that much but we can still afford nuclear weapons somehow.
I know, and I understand that. Perhaps I should have worded my statement differently. "School provides us with our 13-level education that we pay for merely through taxes." I think that phrase would be considered more accurate, wouldn't you agree?
I just want to point out that "negative reinforcement" is the removal of something bad in order to encourage repetition of a behaviour. What the post should say is "punishment." The more you know.
Actually in schools you have to pay for your lunch and sleep somewhere else. There is more money spent on prisoners than on school kids. It's quite sad, really.
Then stop going and live a life of crime on the streets and then eventually get sent to prison. Guarantee you will cease with your
sophomoric whining about your school system the first time you get sent to solitary for two weeks. Damn kids have no idea how easy they have it.
I don't care that this is two years old, but school doesn't use negative reinforcement it uses punishment. Negative reinforcement is taking away something unpleasant in response to a behavior that someone wants you to continue, like if you get good grades you don't have as many chores. On the other hand punishment is meant to discourage behaviors. Some teachers will use negative reinforcement to rein in a class, but the schools detention system would be punishment.
