Okay here is my rant. Tons of people die every single year. The public is not going to recognize and be sad about every single one of them. Some of them are children that die in car accidents, but I doubt that you know their names and recognize their individual deaths. A celebrity is someone who you at least care about; care enough to know their name. Why does this guy deserve more recognition than a child who died? Does he deserve it just because he was sitting next to some one famous. I bet this guys loved ones still mourned for him. His death may have been over shadowed, but so many deaths are not even mentioned. This is so hypocritical, unless you are going to try and recognize every single person who died, which is impossible. Rant over.
I agree on all of this. Does anyone understand that no matter who it is, they should be remembered? It doesn't matter who it is! If it was Justin Bieber (Which I Hate Justin Bieber) I would still say R.I.P. He would be DEAD. Does no one understand that? I guess people have become numb to the news about deaths.. My point is that you should care about anyone who is deceased... If at all possible... R.I.P. Paul Walker, Roger Rodas, And the people who die every year from tragic accidents like this. You will be missed.
Though I agree with both your points, I heard something particulary disturbing...you said you would say RIP to Justin beiber. I throw a fucking party, screwing mourning beiber hes an ass, there is litteraly a post a couple of posts up ab
People are always dying, and most of them has loved ones or people who will be in mourning of their death. I find it hypocritical that you guys are trying to tell people they cant mourn for someone who has passed, because they were in the news. You have no right to be telling people not to grieve about a death just because there are other people dying who aren't heard about. People are bringing recognition to Roger Rodas' death because he was in the same accident as Paul Walker, yet is barely talked about, considering that this tragedy is all over the news. Hopefully this made sense.
I never said that mourning over famous people was wrong! I said that it doesn't matter who it is that the fact that they are dead is the point they should be remembered. Geez. I never said to cry over every person that dies i said "If at all possible" Try to remember them
Sorry I realised that, puddlepeople. I also realised that half of it didn't make sense, so I've updated the comment. But also just in general, there are people who have said that you can't mourn over a celebrity because you haven't known them, and it really pisses me off, I guess I kinda got lost and was arguing about that
Well apples, it pisses me off to. Like if Demi died I would be devastated or Like Nelson Mandela died yesterday right? I cried. He was a great man. I'm sorry for getting mad.
Yeah, like those are people who have lived their life helping others, and bringing change to a pretty messed up society. I'm glad that Nelson Mandela really did live his life to the full though, and hopefully passed without any pain. Don't worry about it puddlepeople, I got mad too.
I think you should mourn whoever you want to, but you should not post things making people feel bad about not mourning someone, because you cannot mourn everyone!
you know, when I first saw this, I thought of The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. so these kids in this book has cancer and they were talking about death. one kid goes something like, she calculated the total deaths of human beings since the beginning and the current population, and apparently, every living person could remember 7 (or 9. sorry. memory is kind of hazy) dead people and mourn for them. but there are too many repeats. so many people remember Benjamin Franklin and George Washington and Michael Jackson, and now Paul walker too. would just like to share this inreresting thought.
Rodger does deserve to be remembered and recognized, but I might add he was driving irresponsibly. This doesn't mean he killed Paul Walker, or that he shouldn't be mourned over.
Although the investigation is still underway and a lot remains to be seen, one thing that probably isn't an accident is driving over 100 mph in a 45 mph zone.
Recursion is a bitch some times, isn't it?
RIP the other guy.
Rest in Peace Roger Rodas.
