I did read the books, honestly. I can't say I wanted to watch the movies, per se, because I usually leave my imagination up to things. When people make movies based off of books, a lot of people end up extremely disappointed, and when you make the movie for the fans, I say you should at least aim to please your main audience. It's just like the Avatar: The Last Airbender. (I didn't mean anything I've said on this page to appear in an offensive way, so I apologize if it seemed so)
I've seen catching fire a couple times and I can tell you that it's one of the most accurate book to screen adaptations. Obviously there were things that had to be cut out due to time and budget restrictions but apart from that it was amazing. I certainly didn't end up disappointed.
I hate how she behaves the last couple of months but some of the things she said recently actually have a valid point, for example her opinion of media censoring 'molly'.

Suck it up!
