If he or she doesn't want to put in the effort, let them. That means less competition to worry about when it comes to Job

I put in 70% to get more than the people who give 100%
No one in high school likes me.

More like 20% for me. I'm first in our class, and it makes the try-hards so mad that I don't study/care about anything.
