My first post, finally figured it out!

This is very true for me.

First they yell at me for never being with them.. Then i go down and they tell me to shut up because they are watching tv.

What bothers me the most is when they know that certain topics upset me and they bring it up anyways.

Exactly. Aren't they supposed to NOT make you feel like shit? My mom would yell at me until I was in tears when I was younger, whether we were in public or not.

I usually retreat back to my room and jam my headphones into my ears so I don't cry.

I now feel bad for posting this ;( Seems like it brings up bad memories...
