Well, it is essentially just a gas fireplace with glass pebbles.

Except it isn't the glass that is burning. It's just a cool looking cover for gas stoves :3 Sorry if I shattered any dreams :c

Its preparation must be consuming a lot of energy and probably isn't very ecological, either.
