Hopefully, he is only just a bit more cautious... A bit more reserved in his overtures.
Seeing as how this is only a summary, there may be a whole lot more to the story. A bitch of this magnitude may leave one bitter & broken.

I was broken by a girl, she left me and immediately went for someone else. I'm still trying to get over her but it's so damn hard :(
