A lot of people don't have insurance and going to the dentist would be too expensive without it

My mom keeps saying she's going to schedule an appointment for me but she never does, and I haven't been in a couple years. All I really need is a cleaning. My teeth don't bother me any, I've never had a cavity and I brush them everyday. They've become stained overtime.

I didn't go to the dentist for ten years, when I did I found out I needed ten fillings and two root canals. The doctor said he has never seen an 18 year old with that needed two root canals. My parents avoided taking me because it's expensive but now they have to pay thousands to fix all the damage that has been accumulating. I've spent a total of about five hours in the dentist's chair getting work done and I still have 5 fillings and two crowns to go... Yayy...
