I don't get why people treat homosexuals different. Because it's in the bible? If we're going off WHAT the bible says then we should STOP EATTING BACON, stone children that misbehave, never shave, and never get tattoos. I'm sure half the people that complain about homosexuality have done most of the things on the list so way are we going crazy over two guys fucking each other? All that matters is that they love each other and if they're are willing to be outcast to stay together that is Real Love!

yeah as long as they are not harming another human being who really cares? OUr jobs are to live our own lives well and protect other from people who don't know how to live their own lives- eg abuse, that sort of thing.
Jews do everything according to the bible i.e don't eat pig, never shave beard no tattoos and technically most are against gay marriage but they don't argue, they just don't do it and leave it be.
Please people, cut the Bible-bashing crap. Those kind of statements are ignorant and stupid. The Bible doesn't tell us to do those things -- please educate yourself. What te Bible does tell us to do is love and reach out to people. If you want to argue with someone who is discriminating against people for religious reasons, the Bible is your ally, not theirs. Don't try to defame te book -- advocate it instead. Remind them what Jesus taught about love being the most important commandment, and help them see that their priorities are screwed up.
I agree with supernovamke. I am catholic and right now, I see many problems with the catholic church. Sometimes we are to judgmental. That's why I like pope Francis, if you do not know who he is then look him up, but I will tell you one thing. He is selfless and sewks goodwill towards all people, and animals. Sorry if there are any thpos my damn computer is fucking with me.
Not yet, but one day.. I'm not going to be allowed back home. When I start to transition from a woman's body to a man's body, neither of my parents will want me around. Neither will my grandparents, my aunts, my uncles... But I think I"m okay with it. If they're not going to accept me, then I don't want to be around them, anyway. Better to be far away from them then to feel like the black sheep of the family.
At my school we have this teacher who is head of chapel and we asked her, her thoughts on homosexuality and she said they can go to a place called hell and at that moment ive never wanted to punch a teacher so badly
Why limit it to LGBTs? My heart goes out to people who are rejected for any reason. I know people who are rejected because of their religious beliefs, for example. There's many more people in that boat than just LGBTs.
Thank you. You may not even think that problems exist for a middle class white teenager tying on an expensive laptop, but I get alto of shit on the internet for being catholic . Even me and my best friend, who is from Massachusetts, so a die hard liberal get Ito fights and I always seem to lose since she has more on her side. I don't care about your political views, I am for LGBTs, but on other issues I disagree. I have had insults hurled at me that sting. I have been called a stuck up whore, even though I think of myself below the struggling. One of the TRUE teachings of the church, the church that even I disagree with. Thank you for reading this. Thank you for realizing that other people can be rejected based on beliefs. A roman catholic white girl might not have been what you had in mind but thank you supernovamike. Thank you
I used this particular image because it's an issue that is very close to my heart- and I agree that being rejected from your family for any reason is terrible. In cases of religion, I believe more often it happens for those who reject the religion (such as Mormons or Muslims) then being of faith. When it comes to being LGBTQI, which is something which is inherently part of you, a large number of youths (around 30%) who come out are likely to experience rejection or displacement from their homes- which has led to 1 out of every 7 homeless youths being LGBTQI in the nation. Hence why I addressed that. Thank you both for your perspectives!!
I agree, the parents are being very dramatic and petty- you should have unconditional love for your child, and it's very sad to see how many fail their children.
They could mean the LGBTQI person could go home if their family tried harder to be loving and accepting, like what a family should be- and the fact that any family feels that their love is revoked based on someone's gender/sexual identity is bullshit. That's how I see it.
Why the heck did my comment get deleted it was just showing my respect for all those people out there! I accept everyone, no matter what other people say! Homosexuals are still people of course, and have feelings. Love who you want to love! Our FS family is understanding! <3
