Exactly. I agree with the idea of having some 'average' person who doesn't train for the Olympics compete along side for comparison. People don't realize how difficult those stunts are or how long it takes to perfect them

In 2000 I competed a vault that had not been done up until that time in men's gymnastics. It was a yurchenko 1/2 on; front tuck full off. It was given a preliminary sv of 9.8...2 years later it was a 9.6 in the women's code of points and a 9.2 in the men's.
