So she was going to get in trouble for wearing a jacket over a tank top? Wow. At my school if you're wearing a tank top they maks you put something on over it

Luckily we dont have dresscodes in Norway. I've seen girls wear the shorterst of shorts and show a lot of cleavage, and thats no problem :)

It's only a handful that dresses like that, but I think its important to be able to wear whatever you want. Most people actually dresses really nice. You shouldn't judge people for what they're wearing. I sure would not like it if people judged me for that.. Would you?

Sorry my opinion is kind of biased, going to a school full of snobby sluts and man-whores. That's how I learned to differentiate people. I just don't understand how could anyone could go out in public EVERY DAY and wear short shorts, skirts, and Really low shirts and not feel even a little uncomfortable. I just think it's kind of pointless, since it's really no special occasion. And seriously, if some of those shorts were 1 inch shorter, they would be underwear

I agree, it's much more special to dress up and show some cleavage at special occasions if it's not how you dress every day. But people can wear whatever they want, and if that is how they chose to dress - then thats ok .

I accept dressing like that on special occasions, but I can't unsee what happens when I pay attention to the people at my school

^ you're the reason there are dress codes. Not saying that's a bad thing.

It really depends how old you are. If you're a 13 year old girl showing cleavage, in my book, would be extremely inapropriate.

Exactly. If you start doing that at a younger age *cough* half my grade at school *cough* then that's just gross. Some girls at my school have a twitter and instagram account where they all pull their shirts down and write "sad" quotes about break ups. This one girl dated a guy for a week and when they broke up, she wrote "I'll never love anyone again" and she took a selfie where she's supposed to be sad but she's smiling. Note that I'm talking about 13 year olds

We wear uniforms at my school. (it's in south africa)so we don't have punishments for dress code, and we all look like anime characters so there's that.

We can basically wear anything we want at our school as long as it doesn't show you belly or anything
