I do too, which is why I love Lacey Green's response to it. People trying to tell others what to do with their bodies is ridiculous- I liked the sarcasm back :-)
I agree that the top girl shouldn't be telling others what to do, but I think she's just trying to make a point about today's fashion and how many women/girls walk around barely dressed. My response would have been the bottom's though.

What's interesting is people see the top girl and say "it's my body don't tell me what to do with it"
But then you see a girl walking around with her boobs out and think she looks trashy. You can't have it both ways people
That's a really good point! We need to stop making judgements about people based on the way they dress- Especially since we wouldn't want them to judge us :-)
For me, at least, it's hard to find shirts that don't show cleavage. I'm a thin girl, only weigh 120 soaking wet, but through the grace of God or genetics, I ended up being a D-cup. It's hard for me to find clothes to fit the rest of my body that also accommodate my boobs without them being out there just a little. And I'm kinda ok with that.
My best friend in middle school was like that. Had huge motherfrickin boobs, but was beautifully built with a flat, small waist. I crushed so hard on her.
Ah, thank you! I was hoping someone would bump this- Her name is Laci Green, she is a Sex Educator, and she has an incredible YouTube channel. Here is the link: http://m.youtube.com/#/user/lacigreen?desktop_uri=%2Fuser%2Flacigreen
I should have posted this originally, sorry guys!
I think if the top girl was saying "I feel more comfortable in conservative clothing." as in giving an opinion on herself, I wouldn't have an issue with it. But trying to police or tell others what is "appropriate" or "acceptable" is not okay- where is that line drawn?
Do we tell women they have to cover their heads and wear dresses to their ankles for fear of inciting lust in others? Do we go to burkas like some middle eastern countries?
My mom wears a head scarf because she wants to, she wasn't forced into it. She dresses how she feels comfortable in public. She likes to cover up, because she doesn't want to receive attention from men. But it's how SHE feels comfortable. I personally don't wear a headscarf and it's beginning to become meaningless in the Middle East because most people wear tight fitting clothes with it. And people don't go to a "burka", they wear it. My aunt wears it in public because she's old and religious and that's how she feels comfortable in front of men she
isn't related to. Middle eastern countries don't force a woman to wear a headscarf or dresses to their ankles. Some Muslim women wear a head scarf, some don't. I personally believe that Saudi Arabia has the least freedom in the world. Women aren't allowed to drive and so on. But that's Saudi Arabia, not all of the Middle East. Have you ever been to the Middle East?
I absolutely understand that to some religious coverings are worn by choice and not by mandate, like your mother. But it's also true that when the punishment for being seen without the proper clothing (being Muslim, Amish, etc.) leads to punishment- that is not a choice. I respect a person's right to wear what they wish- if you wear the trappings of religion freely than all the more power to you. If you wear them because you fear retribution, punishment, or shaming- to me, that is not a choice, and that is what I was referring to.
Some places in Saudi Arabia do that, I heard. It's very ignorant. The prince can go to a club, pick any girl he wants, rape her, and nothing will happen to him. I hate the kings and queens of that country. Their daughters can be whores and wear the sluttiest things, but when a woman goes out wearing a short sleeved shirt, she's punished (in some parts). I hope one day Saudi Arabia gets itself together because Muslims go there for hajj, and I don't want to be there when i know that the prince, or any man, can rape me and most likely won't get punished if he says he was "punishing me". I totally agree with you and some people wear it because their husbands force them to. In my moms case my dad could care less if she wore it or not. Infact, he'd prefer her to take it off. But she is definitely not going to take it off.
