What's so surprising? Considering how many Christians there are.

In Texas they teach creationism in schools. You won't even find a single sentence on evolution. It's not always just because of a religion, some people really just don't know.

Just want to point out that back when it was popular to believe the world was flat, Christians believed it was round because it says the world is round IN THE BIBLE. Like God just puts it out there...

"It is he who sits above the circle of the earth, and its inhabitants are like grasshoppers; who stretches out the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to dwell in;" Isaiah 40:22 (ESV)

Just wondering, than why was the Earth being flat considered the norm by all people for a long period of time?

By the way, a circle can still be considered flat. A sphere would mean it is three dimensional whereas circle means it is round.

So what does not believing in evolution have to do with this? There are people out there who believe in evolution but not global warming and vice versa.
