with mine it was more the women going easier on my brothers and i (even though we nearly burned down my grandma's house with a roman candle), and then the women being much harsher on my sisters... if one of my sisters ate a donut my grandma had they'd get cursed out, it was weird. My dad was much harder on my brothers and i than my sisters, but my grandpa just stopped caring. My other grandpa was dead, so idk how he'd act, and my other grandma has dementia so she gets so damn confused she's just happy to see a recognizable face.
