Never been a big fan of people cropping these images to include a single reaction to the first post.

>he still thinks science is in charge of things like definitions of words
You're a funny man, karl.
Also I don't think "child" is a gender, I just doubt the existence of a limiting factor in current discourse about gender that would prevent "child" from being considered a gender, should people decide to move in that direction.

Pretty sure it actually describes what gender they're attracted to, and can we really be sure "child" isn't a gender in 2021?

You figure maybe their just humoring you?
Maybe you're just generally uninteresting to the people you talk to for some reason?
I don't mean that to shit on you, they're honest suggestions.

>facts are defined by academia
Again, reevaluate.
There is a pen beside me right now. I have done absolutely no science or academic work to determine this, but I know for a fact that this is a pen. Facts don't magically spring forth from the institution known as academia, they're observed in reality.
As for the term "alpha male", 99% of the time people are using the general definition of the term, not the specific scientific definition, so your argument about the validity of the scientific term is mostly pointless anyway.

Use the time before they start ignoring you, and introspect about the part where they lose interest.
Either that or your just hanging around shitty people, I don't know your life.

>facts can't exist without science
You should probably reevaluate this, it's a little ridiculous.

The fact that origin of the term isn't accurate doesn't mean that the idea the term represents is non-existent.

When the elderly die 9 comments

Its not really "fine" if old people die, but its the obvious state of reality that they *will* die in relatively short order, and it doesn't help anything to pretend other wise.

Seems fine the way it is to me.

The top portion of the time machine meme is superfluous, that's why its always the same. Its not actually saying anything about what girls would do with a time machine, its just a framing for silly ideas about what you might do with a time machine contrasted with a mundane use.
The "what girls think" meme probably stared as more of what this image is referencing, but similarly is now (in my experience) more about highlighting something silly by contrasting it with something more normal or expected.

Not really how it happened, and we didn't adopt the modern Canadian flag until long after the British North America Act was signed.

Unfortunate that girls don't understand that meme, I suppose.
