To be flown to the Vatican is not an offer of medical help. He certainly would have been saved, but in a religious sense rather than any physical sense.

I'm not sure where the idea of potential treatment is from? If the boy was kept on life support, would he have survived? If the boy was taken to the hospital in Rome, could he have been treated? Because there is little to indicate either. Sure, the hospital should listen to the family in terms of whether to terminate life support or not, but I fail to see how flying him to Italy would have given him a chance.

A bit of historical context for this photo would be nice, but I'm guessing it's referring WWII.

They were enslaved because of racism. It's because they saw these people as inferior that they seemed vulnerable and exploitable. Even after the end of slavery, this mindset led to some of the nastiest pieces of legislation in our history. Jim Crow, Black codes, the many lynchings and firebombings and other acts of terrorism that went unpunished, and many of these happened to a generation that is still alive. They weren't considered human, regardless if they were enslaved or not.

I mean, it is, in the same sense that having a broken leg or arm is also a personal problem.

It's like a school grading scale. 5 out of 5 is 100%, an A and mostly acceptable. 4 out of 5 is only 80%, barely a B and rarely accepted by most parents.

But we follow almost none of them, since we hang em off the back of trucks, wear them as clothing, and drape them over our naked bodies.

Accessible seating shouldn't be like this to begin with, to where only one row of people would be able to actually see the event.

If it vibrates, has ribs and bumps, is made of a plastic material, and doesn't have any use for reproduction, it isn't very much like a penis at all.

Sometimes its fingers or a vibrator. Or an object that would not resemble a human penis in any way.

I mean, it almost is, given colonialism and a reluctance for most english speakers to learn a different language.
