Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to pressurize a tube that long without issues. The easiest way to do it would also be incredibly unsafe if there was an issue and the passengers had to bail.

I hope this is a genuine urge to help and not one of his publicity stunts. I've seen a few sites that are usually hard core Elon Musk cheerleaders feeling a little uneasy about the way he's talking about his involvement with this.

I love how he built it in like 15 hrs, did some testing for a few more and then put it on a plane, even though they probably won't need it. He's right, even if they don't need it stuff like this is bound to happen in the future so... why the fuck not?

Why wouldn't they need it? They were only able to get 4 kids out and it's now started raining again.

Last I saw they got 12 kids out. If they need it, hey, cool, it's incoming.. if not, cool as well.

No, they only got 4. They found all 12, but they can only get 1 out at a time and it takes a long time. Now it's raining and water is rising again. There are still 8 kids trapped as well as the coach.

A navy seal was pronounced dead, not one of the boys trapped.. So far 8 have been rescued!! So hoping the remaining ones can be rescued successfully!
