The ultimate frog house of horrors: a French restaurant. More specifically, the "Le Frog" (not kidding) restaurant in Nice, France. Despite its location, most frogs would not find it nice at all. Who can tell what heinous atrocities have been perpetrated against frogkind behind those chic roadside doors. (Even worse, many poor naïve frogs get lured to their doom by misinterpreting the signs which say "We Serve Frogs")

"Heleophryne orientalis" - harasho, droog. Much has changed since the wall came down in Skeleton Gorge. Though we prosper thanks to capitalism, the comrades of old seem but shadows of the past. (But at least we still have Adidas and hard bass)

"Limnonectes macrocephalus" - why, yes, they are peering into your soul. However, they will not steal it. This frog is found only in the Philippines, and despite their vampiric appearance, they're completely harmless. It's believed that their fangs help them hold on to slippery prey such as fish. (That, or they were bitten by a French vampire who was looking for exotic flavors)

The skull of a Greening's frog (Corythomantis greeningi) Endemic to Eastern Brazil, this is one of the few species of frogs that directly injects venom into attackers via their skull spines which protrude from their upper lip (most fairy godmothers don't recommend trying to kiss this frog; not that many would be tempted to anyway, even with their skin on, they won't be winning any beauty pageants)
