Tinfoil hat time! What if it's not the frogs acting like cats, but the cats acting like frogs?... Because they're being mind-controlled!

It might just be convergent evolution. That, or cats and frogs shared a common ancestor long ago: the frat.

Yes. And you call them creamed hams despite the fact that they obviously grilled.

I see. You know, these hamburgers are quite similar to the ones they have at Banana Burger.

Really. Well, I'm from Toronto, and I've never heard anyone use the phrase "creamed hams."

"Breviceps adspersus" - also called the common rain frog. Quite fitting, since they are abundant throughout southern Africa. They spend most of their time in burrows, emerging only to feed and mate. The latter can be a bit challenging since the female is much bigger than the male, and he cannot grip her for amplexus. To counter this, the female secretes an adhesive from her back that allows the male to glue himself to her. (These frogs often find themselves in sticky situations, but they can dig it. Though their lifestyle might be a bit too underground for some)

This happened in India during monsoon season. A little rat was stranded in the middle of a pond, clinging to some flotsam. When a frog swam up to him, allowed the rat to climb on, and ferried him to safety. Once on the edge of the pond, the rat scurried off into the woods and frog hoped on their way. (I guess Aesop was right)

On that note, happy Year of the Rat!
