"Atelopus flavescens" - yipee Cayenne, motherfrogga. These pint-sized pink-bellied frogs are found primarily in fast moving forest streams in northeastern French Guyana and Amapá, Brazil. Despite being threatened by habitat loss, their local populations are stable. (Stubbing your toe is bad, but stubbing your toad is worse)

"Atelopus varius" - how about a joke? What do you get when you cross a critically endangered amphibian with a society that abandons them and treats them like trash? YOU GET WHAT FROGGIN' DESERVE!... While it's unlikely that they'll be shooting anybody, touching these beautiful frogs is not recommended as they highly poisonous. Also called the Costa Rican variable harlequin toad, their populations were once wide spread throughout Central America. At this time however they're only found in Quepos, Costa Rica. (But hey, always remember, that's li- *Spanish Flea plays*)
