Would you prefer a universal health care joke? Though you probably wouldn't get it.

Time to play 'Where's Froggo?' That is, if there's a frog in this picture at all.

Even their delivery system is vegan. Then again, frogs know a thing or two about going green.

Actually, they do act, quite well too. I'd assume that's why they're better.

I think you'd just call it a reboot.

That's the spirit. Personally though, I'd want my epitaph to read 'Death by Big Pussy.'

Doctor Frog is here to give you a check up... when he feels like it. Despite appearing in only three games, this laid-back lad is surprisingly popular. His main trait is laziness. That may sound bad, but it just means he gets along with almost everyone and likes to take it easy. He also likes to mooch food whenever possible. (There are some who doubt his expertise in the medical field. To that he boasts that no one has ever croaked under his watch)

Interesting perspective. I'd think it counts precisely because they're based on the same source material, similar to 'The Planet of the Apes' movies.

Indeed. But there was an adaptation before Peter Jackson's, namely Ralph Bakshi's 'The Lord of the Rings' from 1978. While I'm fairly certain the later movies didn't try to recreate the earlier one, they still would at least count as a reboot.

Oh, I got that. What I meant was that in spite of that tendency, things are not carved in stone. And that there are more than a few examples of this.

It's sad but true. Still, I believe in them. I mean, there are girls on this site, and they're pretty nice, right?

It did: 'betrothed.' It's still in use today, though very rarely, since it sounds kinda old-fashioned or pretentious.
