Both are valid points. British food is... passable at best. It gets the job done, and that's about it. American food has the opposite problem: it's packed with flavor but not very nutritious. That's probably why Americans feel the need to eat so much of it, and why they think it's better than it actually is.

"Dryophytes japonicus" - weebo jyanai. Initially thought to be a subspecies of the European tree frog, these frogs are found in Japan (who would have guessed?), China, Mongolia and the southern part of the Russian Far East. Some believe that the mainland frogs are actually an entirely different species altogether. If so, it would make the island frogs endemic to Japan. They have the distinction of being one of the few space frogs in existence, as they were brought to the Mir space station in 1990. Also, their calling behavior has been used to create algorithms which optimize Wi-Fi networks. (In Japan, even the frogs are tech savvy... and astronauts)

Developed and published by Team17 (famous for the 'Worms' series) for the Amiga in 1993, and the PC in 1994, the game features an interesting take on the classic frog prince story. You play as a prince who's been turned into a frog by witch, and who needs to rescue a princess. At first, you're just an ordinary frog but after drinking a bottle of Lucozade (not kidding) you transform into Superfrog, with the power to... well, jump really high. You must navigate six worlds, with four levels each, the goal in each level being to collect a certain number of coins before finding the exit. (It's kinda weird that he has a navel, but I guess that's just to show he was once human)

"Theloderma corticale" - no, they're not diseased. And now it's time to play 'State the Obvious!' For 500 hundred imaginary internet points, the question is: Where do these frogs live?... That's right, China and Laos (and northern Vietnam) Next up, why are they called mossy frogs?... Oh, check out the big brain on you. Exactly, because they look as though they mostly hang out on the northern side of trees (they don't, but they are tree frogs) Thank you for playing, and please join us again next time when we find out how the leaf frogs got their name!

I wish. But what I was referring to was that the comic is very close to how actual rain frogs act: they're quite happy when it rains.

One of the first enemies that can be encountered in the 2015 game Undertale. And in true first enemy fashion, they are quite weak (their stats read: ATK 4 and DEF 5) and very unwilling to fight you. They can be persuaded not to fight if you compliment them. Later in the game, an upgraded form called Final Froggit can be seen. They look slightly more intimidating, but they're still not all that threatening. They also appear as NPCs which offer you hints, or just banter. (Life is hard for them, so please show some MERCY)
