"Geez gang, it looks like the killer gutted the victim, strangled him with his own intestines, and then dumped the body in the river."
"Jinkies, what a mystery."
"Roh ruck!"
"You said it, Scoob, we're dealing with one sick son of a bitch."

Those guys look more like powdered dumplings to me. But yes, they're super adorable and squeaky.

The original gif is said to have been created by Josh Doohen, a designer for the clip art website Animation Factory. Before rising to meme status, the still image was used in "AP Physics 1 Essentials," a textbook published in 2013. It began to garner attention on Tumblr in 2015, before taking to Twitter in 2016. Its most noteworthy (and perhaps cringiest) use was by Hillary Clinton in one of her 2016 presidential campaign ads: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=XUSIBAtQ_J0

(Needless to say, people did not Pokémon Go for it)

They probably mean a Budgett's frog. And yeah, you should definitely let them rest, my dudes.

Japanese, 'sayonara.' (Its meaning is closer to 'farewell.' Basically, it's something you say when you don't expect to see the person/thing again)

For extra adorableness. That, and that's what frogs do when they breathe. It's similar to how your chest rises and falls.

"Lithobates catesbeianus" - just as proud as any American. Though their native range is the eastern part of the United States and Canada, they've been introduced to other parts of the world including South America and China. They are often viewed as an invasive species outside their home range. Their name comes from their call, which kind of sounds like a bull groaning or moaning. Despite being North America's biggest frog and notably aggressive when defending their territory, their are a prey item for many animals, including humans. Also, most unfortunately, these are the frogs most commonly dissected in science classes. (These frogs are also a goldmine for 'Murican jokes, but I won't make any today. I hope you guys appreciate my restraint)

For quite a bit, it was believed that when rabbits fought, it was two males. Turns out, it's usually a female fending off a horny male.
