Reading manga does help. But it's by no means a cure, or even a treatment.

The funny thing is "Lesbian" is in fact a demonym. Anyone born on Lesbos is a Lesbian. So yes, there are technically male Lesbians.

This show was just prime, yyyeeeess...

A lot of people are more familiar with the original 80's incarnation, but to me this was Transformers.
As a kid, I only saw a handful of episode. However, I manage to view the entire series in college. While the CG did look a bit outdated, the stories and characters held up great.
Dinobot was my favorite. Though his robot form (and name) wasn't all that impressive, his dinosaur form looked cool and his character arc was surprisingly deep and emotional, even after his death... Um, spoilers.
Rattrap was also really fun. Though he often whined and complained, he was very resourceful and his loyalty to his friends never wavered.
And of course there was also the memetastic Megatron, yyyeeess...
(Do the Transformers technically count as the first trans cartoon characters?)

Of course they can dance if they want to. They can even leave their friends behind. 'Cause their friends don't dance. And if they don't dance, well they're no friends of mine.

One ring to lube a finger,
One ring to guide it ,
One ring to prep it all,
And in the darkness slide it.

Pokémon ripoff? Whadda ya mean? I don't see any resemblance.

Another franchise introduced to me via the German dub (seasons 1 and 2). Having seen the English dub years later, I am quite happy about this. The German one didn't censor anything (including the fight between Tai and Matt, which was probably the most dramatic moment of the series) and they kept the original Japanese tunes (with just the words translated into German) which I still listen to from time to time. Vielen dank, Deutsche Team!
Storywise, I remember being far more invested in it than Pokémon. I also thought the Digivolution system had cooler elements, like the Crests of the DigiDestined and the (literal) metal forms.
Apparently, someone at Pokémon thought so too, what with the Mega Evolutions and such. Oh how the turntables...

That's okay. Basically I'm doing a thing where I match Pokémon to certain users. This one is a black rock, kinda like your username's namesake.

By that logic, why have any laws in the first place? I mean, people are gonna break them anyway.

Can't (certain) airbenders literally fly? Or are we not counting Legend of Korra as canon?

The world's supply of oil is set to run out in about 50 years. I wonder how long the @anthracite supplies will last.

This was such a great little turn-based PRG series. I played the third, fourth and fifth instalments. All of them had something unique to offer, but Heroes III left the greatest mark by far.
It had the most factions (nine, my faves were Tower and Conflux), arguably the the longest campaigns, and probably the most fan content built around it. There was even a fan-made expansion pack called "In the Wake of Gods" which featured numerous mods like new units, new buildings, and new upgrades for your strongest units.
I remember making a Christmas-themed custom map at one point. Its top side was a Xmas tree, and the underground level was up of present islands.
It's always nice when games a fuel the players' imagination...

Many may not believe this, but Pokémon is still going strong. Also, it might come as a surprise, but I myself still enjoy it. I confess I am somewhat of a genwunner. But Pokémon Go has caught me up a little.
So my first exposure to the franchise was actually the German dub (which ran on RTL/KRTL) of the first and second seasons. What little German I know I learned from this dub (and a few others). I remember always mishearing the line "Komm' und schnapp' sie dir" (the translation of "Gotta catch 'em all") as "Come and Snapchat deer." I knew that couldn't possibly be what it was saying, but it was still funny to me.
Still waiting on Gen VI and Greninja in Pokémon Go though...

Yes. Any time people are even remotely nice to me, I either think they're lying, or that they don't know what they're saying because they don't know enough about me, or I get impostor syndrome.
