I wish I were half as good at consoling people as that frog is.

I doubt it. If he had, it would have looked decidedly more...abstract.

Indeed, the best way to summon @catfluff is to tag her in cat-related posts.

Yugioh has a wide range of cat (and cat-girl) monsters, as well as more than a few fluffy monsters. But ultimately, I had to go with Rescue Cat — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Rescue_Cat —. Not only was it a powerful card during the early Synchro era, but @catfluff herself has undoubtedly rescued others from sadness on numerous occasions.

That could've have fit, too. Apparently, historically some shinobi were samurai as well.

@shurikkaru's name is indeed deried from 'shuriken', so a ninja monster was inevitable. In this case, it's one of the OG ones: Strike Ninja — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Strike_Ninja —. However, the artwork is from a Spell Card: Fuhma Shuriken — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Fuhma_Shuriken —.

Interestingly, Strike Ninja first apppeared in the anime not as Duel Monster, but as a Dungeon Dice Monster in Yami's match against Duke Devlin. I guess ninjas can truly hide anywhere. (Just don't let cut onions near you.)

My hugs may not be deluxe, but they're freely available. Also, your kid sounds ungrateful. If I had a mom like you, I'd hug her every day.

Sure, those slippers look cute to us, but they would probably be less so if they were shaped like humans.

I only know them from the anime (Sora uses them in Arc-V) but they do seem pretty cool.

Inside you, there is a wolf. His name is @nelson. Inside you, there is also a hyena. His name is also @nelson. @nelson is inside you. You are @nelson.

As you may have deduced, he requested either a wolf or hyena. I figured, why no both, but leaned towards the wolf. Funnily enough there is a card in Yugioh simply called Wolf — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Wolf —, and one simply called Hyena — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Hyena —. However, I went with Frightfur Wolf — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Frightfur_Wolf —, which is also a Fusion monster.
*
As for the flavor of the effect, that's more closely related to Nelson Muntz. And yes, Taunt — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Taunt — is an actual card.

Just a harmless Terry meme, nothing more. Everyone likes Terry, right? Propaganda? None here. Sorry, conspiracists, you'll have to look somewhere else.

I am truly not worthy of your wisdom and culture. You're right, Ki-sikil would have been a great fit (I noticed that the hirigana in her name can also be rendered as "kiss kill"). And, there's an actual monster called Reptilianne Echidna — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Reptilianne_Echidna — that could have worked, if only namewise.
I must thank you for the below explanation, as well. I was surpised to find how much of it I was unware of. I already called @lydia shishou. What could I call someone whose knowledge I admire to show even greater respect?
