They've learned well from their corporate overlords.
Still, I'm hoping to make at least one pilgrimage there some day.

Also, those were Pterosaurs. Despite the 'saur' (meaning 'lizard') in their name, they weren't reptiles and instead formed their own clade.

That almost never happens. I do remember getting more Awards than the post I commented on, one time on Reddit.

Supposedly, Quetzalcoatlus (the one on the right) could grow to be the size of a giraffe.

I don't know too much about @johe but their profile pic does show off a most magnificent and lustrous beard. And while Kojikocy's — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Kojikocy — cannot hope to compete with it, I'd like to believe it at least comes close.

Maid's Day doesn't end as long as you keep it in your heart, and can continue to pay the hourly rate.
For those unfamiliar with this particular holiday, here's the post I did on it:

Yugioh, unsurpringsly enough, does have an entire maid archetype, called Dragonmaid — https://yugipedia.com/wiki/Dragonmaid —. Guess what that's based on... That's right, "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid" (the one with Kanna, the dragon loli). You would think the creator would sue, but they're cool with it.
As for the card in this post, its effect are meant to reflect aspects of a typical maid café, as well as maids themselves. With the Life Point cost being the average hourly rate (about ¥500, or roughly $5). The not being able to be attacked part is a reference to etiquette when in such a café (clients shouldn't touch the maids). And the other effects being services maids provide, such as food, playing games with the client, or tyding up.

At least this religion dares to ask the important questions regarding faith, such as: "Magnets; how to they work?"

You're welcome. And that's a very good summation of Dragon Maid. The slice of life elements certainly outweigh the fantasy elements in terms of appeal for me. (Though let's face it, most people watch it for Kanna.)
I feel the same way about Cardcaptor Sakura. It's technically a magical girl show, but I find Sakura's daily life to be the best part. Interestingly (though perhaps unsurpringly) it also features a maid episode.

That's his clone though, but he certainly carries his spirit and his talent for retoric.
Remember, ask not what gender you are, ask what size the maid outfit should be.

Happy Maid's Day! 4 comments

Though not an official holiday, it is observed on May 10th by otakus, cosplayers, and other admirers of the maid aesthetic.
Why this date in particular? A pun. No, really. It comes from May-do ("do" being an alternate pronunciation of 10 in Japanase) which is how a Japanese speaker would say "maid".
While maids are featured quite extensively in anime, there are very few of them dedicated to maids exclusively. But they do exist (there also a few that feature butlers quite preeminently, but that's another story). The most well-know is without a doubt "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid". The pic features Tohru, the eponymous dragon maid. While in the story she is quite a way from being the perfect maid, she has become something of a symbol for a lot of maid fans.
