Of course, spooky and cheerful are not mutually exclusive.

Prepare yourselves, for you can never see the scares coming. As for myself, I'll see how spooky posts I can get in this Ocotober.

Fair. At least (most) frogs eat their prey pretty quickly.

Don't think I have the energy to party like an ancient Roman anymore. So I'll just celebrate it in spirit.

Apparently, the number of frogs harvested for food every year is about 180 million to 1 billion. So yeah, frogs have it pretty bad, too.
That said, frogs *would* actually eat you if they could. Though next to no one needs to worry about that happening any time soon, or being harmed by an ampihibian in any way for that matter.

Now now, you might feel sorry for them, but remember, cows would eat you if they could. (Well, no they wouldn't, but the tought helps burgers go down easier.)

Oh hey, welcome back. And 18?? Wow, I only know like maybe 6. And you're absolutely right, Japanese is *very* context dependent.

Very true. But those are connotations which refer to natural gender, which more often than not has nothing to do with grammatical gender (this is very apparent in languages such as German). Japanese grammar still does not include grammatical gender. Same goes for English, too.

Japanese has more than 2 words for the 1st person singular, and it has no grammatical gender.
