I was surprised because it landed on my second favorite movie but close enough. I guess.

Probably the same brain child that ignored all the good people in the country and said, “Yep, Colin Kaepernick is the citizen of the year”. So fuck you, anyone that actually DID something to help others.

He said, 'People are born so that they can learn how to live a good Life - - like loving everybody all the time and being nice, right?' The Six-year-old continued, 'Well, dogs already know how to do that, so they don't have to stay as long.'

That’s the real answer. Those men have likely lived through the loss of a dog.

That’s actually the point. Once elected politicians become too distant from their constituents. Walking back WOULD be an acceptable solution. What’s even better is that the last few supporters will likely go down with him when the majority leave.

Star Trek: The Next Generarion had an episode where they encountered a civilization that used metaphors to communicate. The ship’s translator should make the language understandable but without knowing the references it was unintelligible. That show was way ahead of its time. Found it. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darmok

That is from Reddit. It’s a writing prompt and should be credited to the author. I’ll link it here if I can find it. https://www.reddit.com/r/WritingPrompts/comments/5kxe94/wp_you_live_in_a_world_where_each_lie_creates_a/ Give the guy some credit.

I’m going to be pissed if the answer is sometning dumb like, “turn on the light”. But I can’t think of a way to do it otherwise.

Bad ass tesla 6 comments

Actually he was a shitty business man. He felt that his inventions would change the world for better and wanted to give his work away for free to everyone. He got funding to build a radio system and was secretly using the money to work on free wireless electricity for the world. When his investors found out they had him declared insane and took over all of his prospects leaving him poor and driving him crazy. The guy was exactly the type of person that would have brought prosperity to the world if he had been allowed. Instead greedy businessmen including Edison shut him down and pushed him into obscurity. Fun Fact: Donald Trump’s uncle was one of the professors involved in “collecting” Tesla’s works on behalf of US national security after he died. https://www.newyorker.com/news/amy-davidson/donald-trumps-nuclear-uncle

It is actually stranger than that. “In 1898, Tesla demonstrated a boat that used a coherer-based radio control—which he dubbed "telautomaton"—to the public during an electrical exhibition at Madison Square Garden.[126] The crowd that witnessed the demonstration made outrageous claims about the workings of the boat, such as magic, telepathy, and being piloted by a trained monkey hidden inside.[127] Tesla tried to sell his idea to the U.S. military as a type of radio-controlled torpedo, but they showed little interest” - Wiki. He told them what he’s made and they thought he was lying.
