Many people back then didn't bother or tried to think outside of their own lives. They didn't see any benefit as how the world works or how it may end up. Those that did were seen as crazy, ill, or rarely as a celebrity.

Wouldn't that mean that taxes is a crime and that we are being robbed. Sure it pays for certain public things but how much does it really go and where exactly?

I remember those, they were essentially used for special Ed students. I once stepped inside their class and it was so pleasing being inside. It was clean, lively, and it just felt welcoming. It didn't feel like you were at school, it felt like you were at home. The students were smart and clever they just learned how to do things differently. They had their own section of the school all to themselves. Clean bathrooms that didn't look like a public restroom, lots of green plants, and they had their playground. Keep in mind this was a high school, playgrounds are non existent after elementary school. Overall the students behaved 10x better than the rest of the school put together.

Because of the bad quality I had a hard time understanding what happened but now I do.
