Things change mcr101. People wouldn't make a racist joke like they would back then so that applies to jokes of a sexist nature. This is the reason why women are so "bitchy" and "uptight", because the society made us that way.

This is basically highlighting the fact that children can't choose their parents and since they have fragile outlooks on life it is the parents responsibility to be able to take this fact into consideration and guide the child. However, many factors, like alcohol which is mentioned, is a hindrance to this and their irresponsibility affects the child.

You've clearly stated "the only people..." which is not true at all. What meaning were we supposed to derive when you use that kind of modality? There are many groups that participate in discrimination but seem to be more discreet in doing so, like the media.
