But you see, it does, because many games have soundtracks that have expired licenses it is nearly difficult to do so.
Xbox dealt with it during the early stages of the xbox one. You have to pay people to make an emulator that will support online gameplay and be able to perform better than the original console did.
They need money to add these extra features. theres also the fact that PS is a Japanese company and Xbox is American, many game devs and companies have shut down that you can't realy contact them for permission to make changes to the game and make them compatible.
There are many things that need to be done before adding a game for backwards compatibility.
