They would misbehave and get swatted with a ruler made of wood. Then sooth it with a wool bandage and lament being such a fool for being uncool. What a tool.

What if we use an international standardized system of measurement? 3 comments
inspectora · 3 years ago
SAE is popular because 1 unit of things is convenient and weirdly coincidental to body measurements. One foot is approximately 1 FOOT. A finger is about 1 inch wide. Fahrenheit has smaller units and people can regularly detect 1 degree of change (imagine a measurement system where one unit of the main unit of temp was equivalent to 5C, and someone says just turn the AC up ONE notch). Can anyone common to metric tell me one part of their body which is 1Cm? (I'll wait...)

New hire wage 6 comments

Only real downside is the hats I have to wear. Boss is an ass-hat, his assistant is a half-assed-hat. Couple of other people use their hats for cereal bowls, and some wear helmets for safety when what they need is a good hard knock up the side of the head.

Every hour I work for state of TX, is an hour they pay towards retirement. I can full retire in 13 years or less if keep getting promoted and buy years just prior.

Any person who says this and means it is a psychopathological killer and should be both feared and respected ... couple of donuts would help your survival too.

If people wanting higher wage like that wait long enough the companies will be forced to pay new hires with no experience the same as CEO. I already do the work of 6 people in my position and it just makes me respect Wally from Dilbert comics much more for his ability to abate being fired for being indispensable.
