Y'know those stores that ask you to round up your payment to the nearest dollar to support this or that charity? They keep that money and then make a bulk donation for tax credit. THEY donate billions of dollars.. which you gave them for free.

Padme was trolling Obi-Wan by hanging out with Anakin just to make him jealous. The she got pregnant with "Anakin's" child and drove him into madness by gaslighting her impending death thus driving him to dark side and destroying the Republic, the Jedi Order and making Obi-Wan a wanted criminal. Ruining all their lives. When it's clear Obi-wan was always in love with Satine and never going to fall for Padme, she dies out of spite just to burden him with her 2 newborns.
