I mean, the guy made almost $1 MIL playing a video game he enjoys. How are you going to insult a guy for turning a hobby into incredible income?

They both speak to large scale, global corruption by the ultra rich and political elites. Not really sure how to be any more clear on this.

Epsteins' death has already circulated out of the news, I dont think anyone is surprised at this point that this sort of thing happens.

Most major industries use the 24 hour clock/employees use it in an office setting. Especially if you work in logistica or trade because it's much easier to transition between countries/time zones with it.

Yeah for sure, I might have misinterpreted your statement as more of a blanket generalization.

We are about 20-25 years away from being able to artificially create organs and limbs... this is a great step in the right direction.

Well yes and no, Israel is actually pretty safe (within reason) and one of the largest tech hubs in the world now with the infrastructure and security to preserve it (thanks to US assistance). The difference is required military service and less dissociation between civilians and the military--because every citizen is military or retired military. The other difference is what's best translated as 'immediate response doctrine' and 'life preservation doctrine'. Since most Hamas terrorist attacks are on civilian targets, and in many case the softest targets possible (special needs schools, hospitals, etc), there's the mentality of I must protect my people immediately and at any cost. The best way I can describe it is a modern survivalist culture with the modern tech industry built on top.

And FYI, its SOP for active IDF soldiers to keep a weapon on them or near them at all times. This woman might be at a party one minute and then rushing to join her battalion the next.

Then I would report it to the state department. Just the fact that he investigated an active case that his cousin/family member was involved with is a conflict of interest, against protocol, and technically illegal if it was a possible manslaughter. I'm extremely suspicious of the fact that he became a Texas Ranger--I'm also really weirder out that a state trooper was automatically assigned to the investigation and not a state investigator. The whole situation you just described sounds really weird.

It's pretty disgusting. They also explicitly request photos not be taken... so this says a lot about who you are.

You're both sort of right. You have some cities that push funding in every direction EXCEPT their local school districts, and you have some parents that send their kids to school and expect their teachers to effectively raise the kids for the parents.

I've seen an overwhelming amount of anti-Semitic rhetoric and actions from the left as of late. Almost seems like it did a 180.
