He can legitimately report them for this. If he notified the county where he had service there's a real chance they would raise hell on the soldiers behalf because, technically, the way the law is written, the county/local government is responsible for enforcing this not the company in question. The company has to comply, but the county/city are required by law to take this to court if the company does not.

You're not wrong, but in my personal experience in working with a multitude of shelters and rescue groups... your example is by far the exception to the rule. It is far more common for people to adopt an animal as a sort of 'token pet' without actually wanting the responsibility of taking care of it.

"Every mammal on this planet instinctively develops a natural equilibrium with the surrounding environment but you humans do not. You move to an area and you multiply and multiply until every natural resource is consumed and the only way you can survive is to spread to another area. There is another organism on this planet that follows the same pattern. Do you know what it is? A virus. Human beings are a disease, a cancer of this planet."

I also like how everyone treats Disney like some innocent dream factory of a company when they're quite the opposite. In fact, little known secret, Disney has majority control of several news outlets as well as massive majority control of the largest pornography studios and companies in the world... they just manage them through various 3rd party affiliates but Disney is the one keeping the lights on. Anytime people try to defend Disney as this great arbiter of truth, innocence and justice I'm just like yeah, okay, sure.***edited for spelling

Yup, everyone kept trying to blame Sony for the dispute but it was overwhelmingly a problem with Disney and some insanely greedy requirements on their part.

Truth is most of those ratings are arbitrary and done so without the reviewers actually playing through the games. You should do your own research as a parent regardless of the rating, especially now a days.

With respect, there's a difference between helping someone buy diapers and a fairly suspicious person jumping in front of your car at 3:00AM. I get why you're frustrated but I feel like your experience is a bit dissociated from the post... just tad.

This is most police officers, that's the problem. Most people sign up to be first responders for below average pay and crappy benefits to help people... they deal with meth heads, they deal with drunks and run towards the bullets because they want to help their community with their own two hands. Yeah, some cops out there are doofs or plain assholes... but most are trying to make a difference.

Japan's response to Kim Kardashian using the word 'Kimono' 15 comments
interesting · 4 years ago
Kim Kardashian is attempting to internationally trademark the word/term 'Kimono', effectively making it illegal for the Japanese Historical society, or really anyone or anything in Japan or the world to use the word publically without having to pay a royalty to the Kardashian brand.

Not sure what country you're in, but most will issue a temporary work visa on the requirement that you secure work within 3, 6, 9, or even 12 months... if you do not then your temporary visa is revoked. If you do, then you are given a long term work visa.

Yeah, with respect I've spent a lot of time in Japan and there's a very common theme of "Japanese Only" shops, restaurants, etc. You can be black, jewish, Hispanic--doesnt matter--if you're not Japanese there is actually quite a lot of stigma in many, many places about you. Not to say all places in Japan or all of Japan is like that, but I think a lot of people who dont actually travel yet cry "Racism! Racism!" left and right would be shocked at the pronouncement for homogenous preferences in many, many other countries.
