I've said it once and I'll say it again. If you're someone who thinks autism is really that bad, let alone worse then the myriad of diseases vaccines prevent against, or in this case glowing freaking trees that have a carbon footprint of freaking 0... then you're a shitty human being.

Places like Chicago and Washington have the most strict gun control laws and statistically the most violent crimes in the nation per capita. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with said regulation, just saying @guest_ is correct that it's much more of a complex issue. I'm a lot more likely to be stabbed in the UK than I am in the US. I'm also much more likely to be killed with an IED or grenade in Sweden than anywhere else in the world that isnt an active war zone. Every country has its issues so... people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, you know?

I hear what you're saying @sunflowers but I grew up with a very different culture that celebrates scars, birth mark's, burns, etc... it just means you've lived and survived--people in Texas maybe think about things a little differently. I was also raised with the understanding that people arent just what they look like, but how they act towards others.

I mean, the vast majority of small businesses couldn't. I get what you're saying @unicycle but the average BBQ Parts & Accessory store down the street would bankrupt themselves if they did that.

Not sure why I'm being downvoted for stating a fact. I never said I agreed with it.

I mean I'm not sure why this surprises anyone. Literally all of these companies are for profit. None of them are charitable organizations or registered non profits. All media outlets both left and right are 100% for profit and accountable to their parent companies and stake holders. You report what sells, period.

No. There is little to no market that would make use of a person with a degree in gender studies. It's like a degree in art history...

Yeah I dont see how xvarnahs statement is bending towards a disbelief in climate change. Seems like they were just stating a fact.

I mean, I've been to Venezuela... several times... and it's pretty freaking corrupt at local levels and at a national level. I literally had a local cop try to get me to bribe him to get out of a ticket. I'm not saying there arent certain interested parties fanning the flames, what I am saying is that there is a LOT of messed up stuff going on there and I understand why people are pissed.
