I think the ultimate problem would be producing a brain that only has the mechanical functions without the cognitive function. We haven't reached a point in neuroscience (I don't think) where we fully understand the complexities of the brain to produce a simple mechanical brain. Now, if we could genetically create a person who has no brain and keep them alive through a life support system (AI brain), that may be an option. People who are considered "brain dead" are kept alive without the use of a brain, and used for organ donation on the reg.
I think the trial and error would of getting a genetic non functioning brain would also be a little questionable.

At my biggest I was 258lb at my biggest and I'm only 5 foot 10. I started running my sophomore year of college and down to 145lb. I'd say at least 20 time a day. When I was younger. Both my parents worked and we lived in a farm house where I couldn't get into trouble. So I was home by myself for about 8 hrs a day when I hit puberty.
