So it would be like Independence Day where when the aliens came and there were people trying to protest that humans needed to make peace with them while standing on top of a large building... until the aliens blew the f*ck out of that building and they all died.

actually, people only use diet coke because it has less sugar, creating less of a mess, thus making it easier to clean than regular coke. Mentos in coke would still work perfectly.
