@ewqua well in my case I'm from venezuela. But in general venezuela.... gosh it is a long story but basically it was a country with a lot of potential (i mean we used to have immigrants from everywhere) most people thought it was untouchable and that socialism was not gonna hurt it....well now it has completely collapsed surpassing Cuba in a negative way. But you know...nobody cares :(

You might have an easier time if you have a plan now and yes it helps to get good grades (possible scholarships) but not the end of the world if you don't have a plan. You guys have literally your life ahead of you.

That's sad. But I agree. You can handle dancing in a club and doing those tricks in the pole, you can make a lot of money! One time i met a guy did that to pay for school too

Yeah. Honestly i struggled with math, physics, chemistry. I'd say i was bad at it, but i was getting decent grades just working hard. In college i would get all As in those subjects. People thought I was a genius lol (because we kinda had shitty professors and I didn't study THAT much) , but no, I just remembered from HS

Ha! Heck no. My point always was it has good things and things that can be way better. I never said it is 100% great. So you were asking the wrong person anyways.

Well that's what I mean. In comparison to other country I have lived it is GREAT!! Like infrastructure, stability, safety (on average where I live) but other countries I feel could offer the same. And I went to college/ university in the US and I am very thankful of being here and having the opportunity i have had, but college education was ok. Some subjects I needed to take, I had seen in high school in my home country. It does get fun that u can get credits for a yoga class and Schools are great at the graduate level but way too expensive really. That is one of the things I think could improve in the US as well as health care.
Side note: i have ashtrays defended the fact that if you want to go to school you can (financial aid, scholarship, loans) you just have to plan it and work hard but sometimes it is too crazy expensive
