The founding fathers 22 comments

This entire century in general was a age of madlads. The Founding Fathers may have drank a little too much pirate rum and snorted a little freedom, suddenly there's English tea in the harbor and talk about gun confiscation. Mad times all around.

No more remakes for the rest of the decade. We have had our fill for a while

Aside from airbending it is a stretch to call him a master or Earth and firebending, toph and zuko both thought he needed more training before the final battle.
He couldn't summon lighting, but redriect others.
This is not to say he isn't combat proficient in all elements, and he was very talented. But he would lose almost every fight with a mentally sound azula or ozai of restricted to only airbending and could not use the avatar state. (And spirit bending)

Should have Kevin as the one breaking in. But instead of witty kid vs 2 idiots it should be smart buglar vs smart kid. No weird kidnapping BS, just two pros.

Blacksmith philosophy: you can sharpen swords and polish armor, but you have to be broken in order to be reforged into something stronger.

What where you expecting? How many hours do you suppose they put in a year? They love the work but there is still only 24 hrs in a day

We prefer "devil's advocate" we just highlight imperfections and try to make others understand the drawbacks of anything. Car manufacturers aren't going to advertise their products flaws.

I'm not trying to be an ass. There are not exactly any reservations for any Celts or Vikings.

Im not trying to be a jerk here. Free market capitalism would chew us all up in a heartbeat if left unchecked. It should be regulated enough for us to thrive while the economy continues to grow at a slower pace. We need to have a conversation on where that balance is.

Would a buy back program not count as protection? Because for some it would. And for others there is always something else. Why stop at protection? Why stop at roads and transportation and education? Why not housing? Why not food and water and energy? Why not high speed internet and Netflix and Disney plus? Where does it end sir? I could stand to lose some weight, but why should a pay for a gym membership when I could be taxed back to health?

So one example you list under your paid for by your taxes is protection. And for the most part that is fair. We should have well trained and equipped troops, law enforcement and firefighters. I'm totally for this no matter where you are. But where I'm from our culture strives for personal responsibility. We have the right and the duty to defend ourselves, our property and our nation LAWFULLY. So imagine my surprise when individuals from hundreds of miles away of whom I've never meet or had any connection too other than we live under the same sky and the same flag want to buy back my firearms via law enforcement

And I'm not trying to be a jerk here. I'm not exactly for mega corporation's and all of their BS. There is must be a balance of free market and power given to the government. And it is a delicate balance.

Maybe don't take a complicated and nuanced issue and pretend it's the simple and obvious answer
