Personally, if you are going to fly a flag you might as well fly two. I really don't care if the flags seem to contradict each other, America is FAR from perfect as is. Flying a second flag (in my opinion) speaks you want to add to america the best parts of that flag. I think it would be more classy for a southerner to fly their state flag instead of the stars and bars, but they can do them. I prefer the chaotic neutral of flying a Jolly Roger with the stars and stripes. They absolutely contradict each other, but no flag is meant to be flown alone.

They found them on the road of conquest. Same as every empire that has come before, and all that have yet to come. Would it make you happier if they refer to them as thophies?

Steve would haunt you if you even dared. I would sooner be scolded by my father for running his vehicle out of gas before I would be scolded by Steve for making a joke about hitting any animal.

Its not that we are too dumb, we know. They know that we are too fucking lazy to round up a lynch mob for the corrupt and those who would defend them.

For what its worth, I think the states were already more worried about the commies at this point, the soviets raped their way in eastern Europe and now their forces were massing for an invasion in northern Japan. And communist types really don't play nice with imperialist. This is not to say dropping nukes on civilian centers is ever OK. But I don't think there is a person alive who can shoulder the responsibility of this setup. This is literally a damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Was this before or after Stalin? Because I don't remember Stalin being fond of anything that wasn't under his affluence, and by Stalin's death the Warsaw pact was a thing, so...

You know, I kinda want to see the entire Minneapolis PD resign in a single day, just to see what would happen. For science.

I don't think the alliances were the big deal about world war 1. The alliances where over shadowed by the rapidly developing technology and weapons all the while the leaders had to rewrite the books on tactics because they had rarely changed since before Columbus went west.

Gossip is OP. Look at how the printing press reformed the church and every European nation.

The public school system has failed, then they ship these snowflakes to 4-5 years of college, which compounds the problem.
This is why I say we need revamp our apprenticeships and our internships, the youth will always learn more about the world while exploring it instead of wasting their life in a lecture hall.

In all, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor crippled or destroyed nearly 20 American ships and more than 300 airplanes. Dry docks and airfields were likewise destroyed. Most important, 2,403 sailors, soldiers and civilians were killed and about 1,000 people were wounded
