He didn't lose it to bender. He kinda lost it to Leela who beat him over the head with it, she tried to fly off with it but it was too heavy and ended up dropping it on his head.

What most people don't realize is that the cdc website just the other day dropped the death count of covid-19 down by half because they split it up by what actually killed people. I.E. pnuemonia or flu. Went from near 70,000 to 35 or 36,000. Don't have the actual figures at the moment. (For the U.S.)

At least the shepherding part. Some animals did try escape into the wombat tunnels, whether they were accepted or not is something I don't know.
