Except this .gif runs at 50 fps. It has 37 frames and each is displayed for 0.02 seconds for a runtime of 0.74 seconds before repeating. (37 frames)/(0.74 seconds)=50 fps

The best way to kill them without leaving insecticide residue is with a can of engine starting fluid (it's basically a can of pressurized ether).

Red hair is indeed a recessive trait, the father has one allele for red hair and a dominant allele for dark hair. So it's entirely possible but not bloody likely that many times in a row. Assuming the chances are 50% each time, then over 4 daughters the chances are 6.2% (0.5^4 = 0.0625).

The decibel scale is logarithmic so a negative number just means that the actual quantity is fractional (<1).
