It CAN cost a penny to make. AFTER the investment in the initial capital needed to produce them en masse and ONLY if you make enough of them to take advantage of economy of scale.

I just spent 20 minutes reading about the innervation/structure of the central nervous system because of you @darthsagacious . I've concluded that it is absurdly complex.

That's what we do in the USA, we were founded by rebellion. It's a proud tradition. (The caveat is that said rebellion must be justified. Here the justification is that the U is not necessary to form the sound of the word.) That being said, I prefer the spelling that includes the U.

Will he really? What if he happens to agree with your viewpoint? What if you present him with a formal argument that is valid whether the premises are true or false? He can dispute the truth or falsity of the premises all he wants but it won't change the validity of the formal argument.

Too little power to electrocute someone anyway (unless they apply the terminals directly to their heart)... Best you can hope for is injury via battery short circuit and subsequent overheating leading to fire/possible-explosion.

Shouldn't we be more specific? What is the glass filled with? Is it water? Piss? Baby blood? Did the blood come FROM a baby? Or is it going TO a baby? I feel like that sort of changes the outlook...

It's called denatonium benzoate and it is the most bitter compound known to man. I once opened a bottle of the solid material and instantly tasted bitterness due to the tiny bit of powder that kicked up into the air from the action of unscrewing the lid. A mere 10 parts per million in water makes it unbearably bitter.
