Pods of males will gang up on a female, separate her from the group and take turns.

England didn't invent slavery, or racial genocide, or plundering. Other empires have done that for centuries.

Dolphins don't have vocal cords...all of the sounds they make come from their blow hole.

The stereotypical species of dolphin is the Atlantic Bottlenose. The Pacific bottlenose looks exactly the same but theyre a little bigger

Dolphins (any member of the family delphinidae) are all toothed whales. But not all whales are dolphins

"Most of the world's problems" could mean anything from poverty to war or mental illness...how exactly is any of that England's fault?

As a dolphin trainer I feel this way when some soccer mom says "well I saw on the internet.." Like BITCH I spent 9 months cleaning fish as an unpaid intern to work with these animals you don't know shit

These are the mangrove lagoons in the Caribbean. The roots of the mangroves filter the water making it clear. These cuties are called casiopia jellyfish because they sleep upside down with their tentacles going up...like the Greek legend of Casiopia who was make into an upside down constellation. Getting stung by them might make you itchy or uncomfortable but they're not dangerous

not saying I actually like Trump, but technically we DID vote for him...or is that not how a Republic works? I know there's a lot of debate on the electoral college and such and so forth but...people voted and he won. so saying "we did not vote for him" makes him sound like a dictator. and bad president or not, by definition he was VOTED into office. making this joke (though funny, I laughed) pointless

I was a marine mammal trainer. The animals would sometimes refuse to perform...we couldn't force them. But we wanted to make training fun and they seemed to enjoy it.

Those animals were born there. It's been illegal to take marine mammals from the wild since 1972, except for rescues that wouldn't survive in the wild. People wouldn't talk shit if they did their research

Ever worked there? Have any experience in animal husbandry? No, you just want everyone to listen to you because you're loud and annoying? Thought so

As much as I don't like cookie cutter homes, they have yards and there's a lot of kids to play in the neighborhood together and they're usually near parks and schools so yeah I'm going to say they're better

how about rescued animals that wouldn't survive in the wild? how about allowing humans to see them safely instead of bothering them in the wild? how about allowing researchers to interact with them safely to gather data to help wild populations?

This is Missoula, MT home of the University of Montana where I went to college. I can say many of the diagonals are one ways and Google maps would get so confused. There was a 5 way weird ass intersection I used to take to work that everyone called Malfunction Junction

The best way to view wild animals is a well kept zoo. Glad to see were moving in the right direction
