It’s a hard situation that no one’s taking completely serious. the amazons trees are adult trees meaning they’re massive and make loads of O2, so no you can’t really just “replant” the forest to its original size immediately, which as a world that needs o2 to even function we would need that immediate to near immediate recovery. On the other hand the Notre Dame could be rebuilt, but not to what it once was or in the traditional style of building meaning that lots of the meaning and significance of the building is gone with the old architecture. We face mass extinction, that’s not a debate anymore, and the Amazon is a key factor in us staying afloat; however, that gives us no right to throw away the importance of historical landmarks. “Where would we be today without history?
