...I don't think you need to be a major in anything to notice when things look similar. I wasn't accusing them of it, I only meant that they seem a lot less creative with their designs now than they used to be, and I honestly have yet to like one of their computer animated designs because they all. have. the same. face.

there's a difference between happy and healthy. She isn't that bad, so I would say she doesn't need to worry much yet- but while it's good to have confidence, it's not good to end up too heavy to walk on your own.

the finales of How I Met Your Mother and Merlin are proof that TV shows tend to promise a mine of gold and then drop a 1p coin in your hand.

I can promise he does actually play ;) seen him live, and it looks like he's playing here. But hey, I doubt they'd give him a guitar in almost every song if he couldn't play

Hiro's design was more prominent because his eyes were large so the design was more noticeable. I just feel like with the CGI animation, they're following one base for all the characters. The 2D characters in Mulan are much more obvious in their heritage by their appearance- you can tell immediately what race they are. If you look at Tadashi, his eyes often appear almost identical to say Hans in Frozen (to me at least). I just don't think their taking full advantage of CGI- it's supposed to be an opportunity to be more creative and even authentic with their style, and they're playing it VERY safe. It just seems like they haven't settled with CGI as well as they were with 2D- they've limited their creativity.
I would be terrified. 5 comments

In the DC world, Batman is king. In the Marvel world, he is peasantry.

I'm with the guest here. People just think "ugh what a jerk not sharing all that money, never does anything with their time, lazy." when in reality the majority have had to work exceptionally hard at something to succeed in before having this time.

this is the only moment in my life where somebody two people possibly like me and my brain goes, "yeah, but look at THOSE two! Chose between them!" and these other two of course have no clue I exist.

If I remember, he's supposed to be very attractive and manly but just a very arrogant dick which others blindly follow. In the animated disney film all the other women are always fawning over him and the men all follow him.

For me, Tadashi's name and hair colour were the only give-aways, and GoGo has never looked remotely Asian to me. Might just be me, but I've never seen it.

...did Jensen even audition? plus I think they're going for a british cast, that and I think Jensen isn't 'perfect pretty boy' enough to be a prince. That and he's quite a bit older than Emma Watson.

this is why I liked it when they animations were hand-drawn and not CGI. The old Disney women looked individual, it was easy to tell them apart. Now it just seems to be a matter of change the outfit, hair and eye colour (half the time they don't even bother with the latter) and bam you have a new character. In Mulan, it's easy to see that the characters are of a different ethnicity. In Big Hero Six, the only character of Asian origin who even looked remotely Asian was Hiro- GoGo and Tadashi, didn't see it at all.
