These are my thoughts on Valentines day 40 comments

...honestly, it sounds like you're the judgemental one-And honestly, you sound a bit insecure. You say you don't care about being single and lonely- then contradict it by saying you hate people rubbing in your face that they have a partner- it honestly just makes you look bitter. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying every single person is bitter- heck I'M single, and believe me, I know the feeling of people being particularly open about their affection on valentines day right next to me while I'm stood on my own- but personally, seeing my couples together, so happy, makes me happy too. And I don't know where on earth you live- but I can basically promise that anywhere else, unless it's a bitter ex or your worst enemy- nobody gives a shit if you're single on valentines day. It looks worse when you go announcing it and having a go at anybody who tries to say anything else to you. What is so wrong with people being happy with their loved one for 24 hours? If it's your friends who look at yo

Maths and sciences are subjects where, while they'll always be there in your life- the extremity of which they are taught is far greater than how much they'll actually come into play- but they are important I'll admit.
BUT, I did not agree with the idea that “music and art is just creativity and good timing.” it's far from it. You need knowledge- the knowledge to read music at first glance, basically another language that some people can't comprehend at all. You need skills- either born with it or developing them over time, it takes a long time to perfect your talent in arts and music- there's a reason some people come out with a portrait and others come out with a stick man. My brother could Thrash me in a maths exam- but I could leave him in the dust in an art exam. don't try to diminish people's talents as 'creativity and good timing', because for some of us- it's what we love and all we have.

I think the guest meant that sometimes if you spend more money on your partner than they do on you, they feel bad and that makes you feel bad-or when you give them a gift out of the blue they aren't prepared for. I think you underestimate just how many people are single on valentine's day and overestimate how many couples actually care enough to judge. Nobody is forcing you to think the way you do, the world is not full of couples who revolve around the idea of "wow what a loser being single." If I were you, I'd stop thinking negatively and think, "why not give it a shot?" At least once-why choose to be unhappy and angry over one day when you could be out enjoying yourself even with friends or family? I can't believe EVERYBODY you know is with a partner. Valentines day is about love, that doesn't have to be romantic. Nobody can change it for you-take life into your own hands, make plans so that you can say "yes, I'm meeting ____" when somebody asks what your doing. Have fun :)

adoption doesn't solve everything. There are already thousands of kids all over the globe on the waiting list, many of whom will never actually be adopted, and the number outweighs the amount of decent parents who want to adopt. I'm not saying adoption is bad, but it's not an option for everybody. That and, some people solely fear giving birth- I would love kids, but the idea of actually going through the birth terrifies me.

I personally just feel that it should always be the woman's choice- unless you are standing in her shoes and thinking with her head, you have no idea how she feels or what her situation is from her eyes. there's a difference between killing a living, breathing, feeling infant, and aborting a fetus that up to a certain point, feels no attatchment to you.

that'd be amazing- and they could still raise money for it if people came to see them in a safe and natural habitat.

I personally disagree with late abortion- I would certainly recommend a pregnant woman to think VERY carefully about aborting an unborn child in it's later development. BUT at the same time, SHE is the one who must care for it. SHE is the one who must always find time to look out for it. SHE is the one who must make sure it grows up in the best environment possible. SHE may not be able to afford that. SHE may be single and not have time to watch a child AND work 24/7 on her own. SHE may be a child herself still. SHE is the one who will either have to put up with people whispering about how bad it is to be a teen/ single mother, or have people screaming at her for 'murdering' the child she didn't feel she could take on. Adoption isn't always an option- there are already hundreds of kids who never find families. I'm lucky to have a family that I know would support me, but if I got pregnant and knew I couldn't care for a baby- I'd certainly consider abortion.

I think it's awful, but we're in an awkward situation now. It should never have happened in the first place, but now the majority of captive orcas have been born in captivity- they probably wouldn't survive if released because they weren't raised needing the skills to hunt or defend themselves. It should never have started to begin with, but it's too far along the line to stop for the majority- which is all the more upsetting.

And it's pretty obvious a lot of people are noticing- or this post and many others on the topic wouldn't exist. Don't try to get all high and mighty because you know more about the inner workings of the animation- my point was, they're designs aren't anything stunning anymore- faces look the same. You'll find that the vast majority of their audience have NOT majored in computer animation, but are still capable of noticing this. Because you don't need to know the inner workings of the technology to see the similarities. You just need eyes.
