Idk if it's the minority opinion but I agree with the top, these things are nasty. My sister loves them, but I never did.

I didn't realize what the joke was until I looked at it a second time because I assumed they were taking a selfie the whole time. I guess that's just where we're at now.

Platonic relationship 20 comments

I just know that for many people, for all of their entire lives up until we started making up new terms for everything, they had or currently have friendships that are on this level, and I think it kind of undermines those relationships by saying it's a lesser version. I get what they're implying, but (and I'll use a page from the opponents' playbook), I'm a little offended. "Hey, this is my friend John. We've live together and have been besties since we were 4. We do everything together! I love this guy, he's great." "Oh...you're in a 'friendship' with John? That's nice. This is my Partner. We're in a queerplatonic relationship. It's like what you have, but more. You couldn't fathom our connection. I can't see if you're still standing there because I'm looking down on you so far, I'm facing straight up."

I've read a similar article to that one, and if you were wondering what it said to do in such a case, it is literally to lie down and scream it out because the pain is so immense, you probably won't be able to do anything else and if you try to stay standing, you'll probably fall over anyways and hurt yourself even more.

Ooh very nice, thanks. I've got a black end table I want to use for the practice run, and I think the purple tops will look pretty good on that.

Yeah I've been collecting them for a few years now, I want to make a tabletop and put them in resin, but I want to get a smaller table to test out with something different in case I don't do it right and waste the collection. Any ideas on what I should use for the practice table?

It's more like "size of atom is to size of peach as size of peach is to size of entire earth" Think about how small a peach is compared to our planet. It's hard to visualize a side by side comparison. Then imagine a peach is the earth, then try to picture how small a peach on that earth would be. That's how unfathomably small one atom is.

Woman gets offended by a plain pepe meme sent to her via AirDrop and says: 26 comments

While I agree that if there's a meme that has been recently put into a negative light for whatever reason, then maybe don't send that to strangers because of how they might feel about it, but I also will admit that I have only ever heard mention of the Alt Right Pepe thing once and it was months ago. I had completely forgotten about the connection that some people are putting between the two until reading this woman's tweets. So maybe Jacob here hadn't heard about it, and thought it was still a "pre alt right/Trump use" Pepe which as we can recall, is hilarious and harmless. If he was sending swastikas and saying he didn't know what they meant, then he's probably lying, but this woman went so ridiculously overboard with her harassment of this guy.
