My school barely did any ancient history, was all modern history, repeated the World Wars over and over again until we could elect not to take the subject. Only ancient history we did was Rome.

Kashoggi and Syria ain't exactly internal American affairs, so I think it's fair to talk about global standards. A significant portion of the US population wanted Bernie over Biden so there is definitely a left according to your own standards, not denying that.

I'm not really sure what the difference is between weeds and invasive species but invasive species are a serious problem in Australia since they outcompete native wildlife plants/animals. Which is why the government is super strict on weeds. Also why they had that whole problem with Johnny Depp a while back.

Bernie is only radically left compared to USA standards. In Australia a lot of policies like his are already implemented and work well, politicians would be crucified trying to remove them. However USA population is so humungous in comparison I don't know how it would transfer over.
